Great House with Amazing Views from Front Porch

The size and set up of the house was perfect for our family especially with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and the rocking chairs on the front porch were a great spot for watching the tides come and go each day.Owner's Response: Thanks for letting us know you had a wonderful week. Yes, we think sitting on the front porch watching the ocean is the favorite activity of most guests. And every bedroom having an adjoining bath as well as opening up to a deck was one of the requirements we had when we built the house. So glad you enjoyed and hope you come back again next summer. Awesome Beach House for Extended Family Gatherings

This beach house has everything we could have asked for and more! And the owners were wonderful to work with, always available by email, text, or phone if there were any questions. The house is bright and beautifully decorated, and it was brilliantly designed to allow outdoor access from every bedroom onto a deck or balcony with fantastic views, as well as a private bath attached to every bedroom. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen with its organized storage spaces for cookware, utensils, and dishes made us feel immediately at home. We have a couple of really great cooks in our family, and everybody wants to hang out in the kitchen area while the cooking is going on, so we really appreciated the large kitchen/dining room/living room area with plenty of countertop spaces and lots of seating for mealtime socializing. Everything was very clean, in perfect working order, and well-maintained with clear instructions. I would highly recommend this house anytime of year! My extended family consisting of three generations spent four nights here in mid-March, and we all enjoyed the clear, clean spring air with daytime temps in the mid-60's from the sunny porches and decks as well as the beach. The comfortable weather called us to get outside everyday, so we walked the beach, went kayaking, explored the walking paths through the wildlife preserve just around the corner, and took a day trip to Wilmington and Southport. We are all hoping to do it again next Spring!

Very Nice

There was plenty of room for 13 of us to stay comfortably. The house was very nice and so close to the ocean, you could easily here the waves. Coming in December was perfect for a quiet stay.

Terrific Place for a Family Vacation

My extended family (9 adults and 4 children) spent Christmas 2016 at this house at Ocean Isle Beach and loved it. The house was well appointed with a great kitchen, video library and even beach toys. The beds in all the rooms were comfortable and the house was well maintained. Dealing with the owners was a great experience....really I can't think of anything related to the whole rental/interaction that wasn't terrific. The house was right across the street from the beach. The beach in this area took quite a hit from Hurricane Matthew, so it was a little lacking (only about 50ft of sand exposed at low tide). This was unfortunate but sometimes these things just happen. I would strongly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great rental.

Highly Recommended

Enjoyed our stay from the second we walked in to this wonderful home! There were a few minor concerns which I felt compelled to contact the owners about as soon as they were noticed but nothing that prevented our stay from being anything but great! Our family of 14 plus 2 dogs had plenty of room! The house is beautifully decorated and appreciated the kitchen being stocked with many items for renters to use. The pantry is tiny so we had food over flow into the counter tops. The elevator was simply a blessing and the views, wow the views were amazing! Our experience at 441 was extremely enjoyable and we hope to be return renters! Thank you for a great experience from the time we secured the house in March 2016 to the day we arrived and the day we had to leave to return back to reality. We definitely did not want to leave!

Our Super Ocean Isle Vacation.

441 E. Second St. - what an great house! I fell in love the minute I stepped out onto the top deck - the view is outstanding!! We are 33-year visitors to Ocean Isle - feels like our second home. Our September visit was our first stay at this beautiful beach house. Friendly and easily-contacted owners were great to work with and our security deposit was returning quickly. There is nothing to say to the negative about our entire experience - we highly recommend this property!

Mary Arnold

We first vacationed in Ocean Isle Beach back in 1995 with our young children, fell in love with the quiet beach town, and have returned every summer since. In 2004 we brought friends from Maryland down and built our own vacation home there. That house is 443 East Second Street. We went on to build another next door, 441 East Second Street, and purchase two other properties, 414 East Second Street and a townhouse in Windjammer. Over the years we’ve brought friends down to vacation, and most of them have fallen in love with the island and built homes of their own there. Ocean Isle Beach is our second home and, although it’s many miles away, it’s always worth the trip. If you’ve never been here before we think you’ll love it as much as we do, and we hope that you can enjoy the use of one of our beautiful homes. They are personally managed by us, we take great pride in them, and enjoy hearing about our guests’ wonderful vacations there.
